A conservative Massachusetts state representative says he’ll officially launch his challenge to Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren full-time in August.

Rep. Geoff Diehl, who co-chaired President Donald Trump’s campaign in the state, told the Boston Herald Wednesday that he will begin campaigning full-time on Aug. 1.

Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren said Thursday she would endorse former political rival Scott Brown for Veteran Affairs secretary, surprising many who knew the pair as bitter campaign rivals. 

In an interview with Boston public radio station, WGBH, Warren told reporters she believed Brown was the right man for the job.

Former Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling says he needs his wife’s permission before running for the Senate against Sen. Elizabeth Warren.

Schilling told Providence, Rhode Island, radio station WPRO on Tuesday that he is ready to run in Massachusetts.

Former Massachusetts Sen. Scott P. Brown and his backers have been relentless in pushing the case that the Democratic rival he's trying to unseat, New Hampshire Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, has eschewed the traditional format in a way that dodges tough questions from ordinary Granite State voters about supporting President Barack Obama's agenda.
