CQ MoneyLine Top 10: House Receipts for Third Quarter

For this summer's House campaign fundraising, it paid to be a big fish or to make a big splash.

After his outburst during President Obama's address to a joint session of Congress made a splash on television, Rep. Joe Wilson, R-S.C., saw a huge wave of donations pile up in his campaign kitty -- more than $2 million, the most of any House candidate.

Other House campaigns at the top of the donation list for July through September included House Republican Leader John A. Boehner of R-Ohio and Ways and Means Chairman Rep. Charles B. Rangel, D-N.Y.

Here are the 2010 House campaigns that raised the most during the third quarter. The list does not include candidates who ran in special elections in 2009:

Here are the House candidates who have raised more than $100,000 from individuals in the 2010 cycle, with the largest percentage coming from out of state:

1. Rep. Joe Wilson, R-S.C., $2,694,100
2. House Candidate Rob Miller, D-S.C., $1,699,240
